Game 1

In game 1 Captain Taylor and River are on board their airship, ‘The Numerator,’ when they are attacked by the evil Quinn’s ship, ‘The Denominator.’   The Numerator’s shield is damaged and the electricity has stopped working.  Captain Taylor and River cannot continue their journey until the wires are repaired and the electricity is working again.  Can you help Captain Taylor and River fix the wires and the ship’s shield so they are protected from Quinn? You will need to use what you know about Equivalent Fractions to repair the damaged wires.

Game 2

Captain Taylor and River are not the only ones searching for the magic compass.  Can you help them reach the lost city of Multiplicity before the evil Skylord Quinn?  But wait!  Quinn has attacked their airship, ‘The Numerator’.  Captain Taylor and River are forced to land to avoid more attacks from Quinn and his airship, ‘The Denominator.’  The sails and funnels are damaged.  Captain Taylor and River are unable to continue their quest.  You will need to use what you know about adding and subtracting fractions to fix the damaged sails and funnels.

Game 3

Quinn has destroyed ‘The Numerator.’  However, Captain Taylor and River have landed successfully on the island of Meros.  There is a train station nearby so captain Taylor and River decide to travel to the lost city of Multiplicity by train.   Their airship ‘The Numerator’ needs to be repaired and refuelled. This will take some time so the train will tow the airship.  Captain Taylor and River need to hurry to avoid further attacks by the evil skylord Quinn.  Can you use what you know about multiplying fractions to help Captain Taylor and River continue their journey by train?

Game 4

The evil skylord Quinn has destroyed Captain Taylor’s airship, ‘The Numerator.’  Captain Taylor and River are continuing their quest to reach the lost city of Multiplicity by train.  They must try to arrive there before Quinn.  Captain Taylor and River know the route from the train station to Multiplicity.  They have just set off when the evil skylord Quinn attacks the train and blows up the train tracks. Can you use what you know about dividing fractions to help Captain Taylor and River repair the train tracks?  If you can fix the train tracks, Captain Taylor and River will be able to continue their journey to Multiplicity and find the magic compass before the evil skylord Quinn!

Game 5

Captain Taylor and River have nearly arrived at Multiplicity but realise the final part of their journey will be the hardest. In order to prepare themselves for this last part, Captain Taylor advises River to make some potions. These potions can help to overcome certain barriers along the way. By selecting the correct ingredients and by converting fractions into decimals and vice versa, you will be able to brew these potions and support Captain Taylor and River on the final stretch of their journey.

Game 6

The train tracks and airship ‘The Numerator’ have been repaired. Captain Taylor and River have arrived in the lost city of Multiplicity in search of the magic compass.  But the evil skylord Quinn is not far behind them!  Can you help them find the magic compass before Quinn?    You will need to hurry to avoid being attacked by Quinn!  You will need to take the quickest route through the maze and use all you have learnt about fractions to get to the magic compass first.  Remember you can use some of the potions you made in game 5 to help you escape the evil Quinn.  Use what you know about fractions to navigate your way through the maze to get to the magic compass.
