Emile has been a life saver for our spelling lessons. It's has provided us with a clear scheme for every year group that shows progression. The resources are well thought through and varied so no two spelling lessons are the same and staff have found it easy to follow; it has made a significant difference to staff work load. It is well priced too making it an easy addition to the curriculum.

Emile is full of wonderful and creative resources which has helped reduce the teachers workload. The teaching PowerPoint is the main highlight for all staff as it gives clear steps and explanations for teaching the spellings each week. It is very handy to have access to other year groups to help with differentiation in the class. The children love accessing Emile online - completing the different games, battles and watching their Emile grow. Having Emile across the whole school has helped with consistency of approach for the all children as they progress through the school.

Before using Emile, we didn’t have a spelling scheme so spent longer than ideal planning. It has helped reduce workload massively! All resources are clear to find and can be adapted for all individuals. Emile has also enabled us to cover the appropriate spelling rules as well as year group specific words the children need to know.

Since introducing the scheme, I’ve found it has not only lightened my planning workload but also given pupils a consistent structure that helps them engage more with spelling and apply it across their writing. The impact on spelling and writing has been really positive! Children are more independent, less reliant on prompts, and proud of their progress. It’s also made my teaching more focused and efficient.

Emile is such an amazing spelling scheme. We use it through out the school. It is easy to follow and everything is provided. It covers all the National Curriculum requirements and with the power points and fun worksheets you can just pick it up and teach. A timesaver. I've used it religiously for the last year and it is making a difference!

Emile Spelling is a comprehensive and fully-resourced scheme for teaching spelling for Years 1-6 based on the National Curriculum. The programme clearly refers to patterns and spelling rules and offers additional activities to help children to embed their learning through repeated practice and retrieval exercises. As spelling requires frequent short lessons, the ready-made PowerPoint presentations, cloze activities, lists, word searches, etc., ensure that all staff can find activities to use without spending a lot of time preparing. Even the free package provides a wealth of resources for busy teachers, ensuring that this important teaching doesn't get missed.

Emile is a really great resource for teachers. It is full of useful lessons and activities which take a huge bulk of planning time off teachers' plates. The resources are many and varied and the structure is amazing. Our school uses both the spelling and grammar resources and find them both extremely useful and we are able to work them into our topics so they are not just stand alone lessons but reinforce all the learning. Our students find the resources easy to understand and like engaging with them. I am delighted we have managed to find Emile.

We introduced Emile spellings to our school last year and are already seeing the positive impact it is having on the whole school. We now have an effective, progressive and consistent approach to spelling, which runs all the way down from children engaging in initial phonics all the way up to Year 6. Teacher's workload has been significantly reduced, yet our daily spelling sessions are even more engaging with the appealing, ready-made PowerPoints and wide range of daily activities.
