I am currently using it to assess and monitor progress with the children for their multiplication check at the end of year 4. We are using it in class and the children are accessing it at home (which they love). Since starting, the children have made rapid progress and have developed good skills in managing how the programme actually works, which is vital for them. Initially they were achieving lows scores due to confidence and the speed of the game. They are now monitoring their own scores and really enjoy their ‘Emile’ time in school.

We are using the App to prepare the children for the new Year 4 Multiplication Table Check. We use the App in Year 2 and Year 3 to test the children weekly. They all start on the 2 times tables. When they have correctly completed 10 or more number sentences in a minute two weeks in a row, they move onto the next times tables.

Emile is really easy to administer - it just works. Students are able to access at home and we haven't had a single parent that needed help to access Emile.

Emile is a really good fluency app. Where Emile out strips other resources, is that it covers fluency of fractions, roman numerals and across the whole of the national curriculum.

The buzz and excitement from the children following the intervention has been phenomenal, especially considering that we introduced it very quickly at a staff meeting and asked the staff to run with it as they saw fit.

I love Emile because one of my kids claimed to be sweating as they had answered so many questions. As a teacher if you have the children wanting and asking to do extra maths, spelling, grammar,..., at home then it is perfect.
