Spelling Tournament

Our children loved the competitions. Most very engaged and competitive! Setting up has been easy.... love that it has promoted spelling across the school and given us another way to support teaching, learning and developing their spelling skills.

Children were very invested in getting as many correct answers as possible and the competitive element is always fun to be part of. I think the children would have been on Emile all day if I let them! Spelling improved over the two days, speed as well as accuracy. Children really appreciate the certificates with their results on.

Winners Announced!

Spelling is something that not all children find fun, but practice makes perfect. My pupils have said that Emile 'makes spelling fun.' ... The competition was exciting for the pupils and it was interesting to see them all participating to go up the leaderboard. The children, even those who might not be the best speller, all were motivated to join in.
